Andrew joined the firm in 2006 after finishing his Agriculture degree at Newcastle University. After passing his chartered exams in 2009 he moved into the firm’s farming department where his experience working on farms has helped him to provide clients with sound advice. Andrew became partner in 2016.
Andrew specialises in the farming industry and looks after a wide range of family farms and farming companies advising on accounts, VAT, tax and general business queries. He devises and implements structures to maximise tax benefits as well as developing strategies for growth.
In addition to this Andrew also specialises in the renewables sector and advises clients on a wide range of projects, including wind turbines and anaerobic digester plants, advising on business planning, obtaining finance and minimising tax.
Andrew loves the outdoors and explores the Lake District whenever he can! In his spare time you’ll catch him out and about discovering even more of the local area as he works his way through the Wainwrights!
